It's a hands-on assistant role, ideal for someone who enjoys digital content, community interaction, and behind-the-scenes media work. We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about conservation, nature, wildlife, and science and excited to help share these stories with a global audience.This is a fixed‑term position for 18 months.
Job Description
Community & Audience Engagement You'll support the daily management of our online communities by answering comments across our social media channels, including YouTube. You'll help publish and moderate community posts, support conversations with our audience, and assist with managing and engaging our Patreon community.YouTube & Short-Form Content Support You'll support the team with short-form video tasks, including basic editing and subtitling for YouTube Shorts. You'll also assist with YouTube video uploads, adding chapters and captions, running thumbnail tests, and setting up thumbnails using existing templates.Research & Content Support You'll assist the team with topic and footage research related to conservation, nature, wildlife, and science. You may also support shoot preparation and basic production tasks for our YouTube channels when needed.
Qualifications
First practical experience in social media, digital communication, or community management gained through internships, working student roles, academic projects, or personal portfolios.Excellent English communication skills with the ability to write clear, friendly, and audience-oriented responses across social media platforms.Familiarity with YouTube and social media workflows, including video uploads, captions, chapters, thumbnails, and community features.
Additional Information
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2.251 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
