Tasks
The long‑term success of Austrian is our top priority. We continuously evaluate which adjustments are needed to remain the #1 airline in Vienna and Austria. With initiative and proactivity, you will support our Strategy team in the following activities:
* You co-develop strategic initiatives (e.g. sustainability, fleet strategy, digitalization) and coordinate with other Austrian business units
* You proactively support the development of strategic concepts, decision papers, and profitability assessments.You support the team’s decision-making through thorough analysis and comprehensive presentation of complex topics
* You communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
* You autonomously prepare (ad-hoc) analyses and reports for the Board and Senior Management
* You independently execute market and competitor analyses to derive decision-relevant insights

Requirements
While prior work is a plus – we are mainly looking for an aviation enthusiast with a motivated and self-driven personality. Ideally you bring the following skills:
* You are enrolled for the entire duration of the internship (current certificate of enrollment must be enclosed with the application)
* You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program
* You have a passion for aviation and mobility topics, with a keen interest in industry trends
* You have gained your first practical experience in strategy or consulting projects
* You exhibit strong team orientation and a solution-focused mentality
* You exercise discretion and a sense of responsibility in handling confidential information
* You have excellent communication and presentation skills in English; German skills are optional
* You demonstrate a high level of initiative and proactivity
* You possess a strategic mindset and strong analytical expertise
* You have advanced MS Office skills and foundational experience with BI tools like Power BI and Tableau
* You have an unrestricted work permit for Austria/the European Union
