Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Workday HCM Lead to support a key client engagement. In this role, you will oversee the configuration, optimisation, and ongoing enhancement of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. You will play a critical role in ensuring HR processes are aligned with business objectives while delivering maximum value from the Workday platform.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation and Configuration: Lead enhancements and configuration of Workday HCM, ensuring alignment with business requirements and seamless integration.
System Management: Drive continuous improvement of the Workday platform, managing updates and optimising system performance for HR operations.
Data Management: Maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy within Workday, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to HR users, ensuring effective adoption and utilisation of Workday functionalities.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key interface between HR and technical teams, facilitating communication and delivering system improvements.
Reporting and Analytics: Leverage Workday reporting tools to provide insights that support workforce planning and strategic decision-making.
Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to HR technology best practices and remain current with industry trends and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Workday HCM Lead or similar senior HCM role
Strong expertise across Workday HCM modules and configuration
Workday HCM certification (mandatory)
Solid understanding of HR processes and systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience delivering in a contract or project-based environment preferred
German language skills – nice to have, not essential
