About The Position
As a Hostess at Mandarin Oriental, Vienna, you will be part of the restaurant team and responsible for a variety of tasks. You will report to our Restaurant Manager.
Your Responsibilities
* Reservations: Handle and manage reservations by phone, email, booking platforms, and in person, ensuring they are properly updated in the reservation system.
* Guest Greeting and Seating: Welcome guests with a warm smile and guide them to their tables, always aiming to create a positive and inviting atmosphere.
* Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with management on seating plans and update the reservation system with accurate table assignments.
* Menu Recommendations: Present menus and recommend appropriate types of water, as well as relay orders to the service team.
* Coffee Service: Take responsibility for the coffee service and related tasks.
* Billing: Assist with billing and ensure adherence to cashiering policies when required.
* Cleanliness and Order: Ensure the cleanliness of public areas and communicate with the housekeeping department if necessary.
* Guest Satisfaction: Address guest comments and concerns, and elevate unresolved issues to the Outlet Manager.
* Hospitality: Farewell guests with kindness and maintain a professional appearance in line with Mandarin Oriental grooming standards.

The collective minimum gross monthly salary for this position is €2,088.00. We are willing to offer a higher salary depending on qualifications and professional experience. There is the possibility of part‑time or full‑time employment.
