In our Power and Sensor Systems (PSS) Division in Villach, we develop world-leading power semiconductor technologies for efficient and high-density power conversion solutions. As a Product Application Engineer, you will support discrete MOSFETs and contribute to defining and marketing our new technologies. You will work in an international team and interact with various groups within and outside the organization. Your role will include providing technical customer support and promoting our power MOSFETs to ensure design wins.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify application trends and future requirements through customer discussions and internal experts.
2. Assess innovative product ideas and influence product roadmaps for small signal MOSFETs and low voltage OptiMOS.
3. Define product requirements, create target datasheets, and develop go-to-market materials like application notes and evaluation boards.
4. Serve as the technical interface between R&D teams and customers.
5. Analyze and assess topologies and application conditions through simulations, prototype measurements, and benchmarking for target applications.
6. Contribute to design-in activities with leading customers to secure design wins.
7. Conduct technical discussions, coordinate requirements, and support product validation in system design.
8. Collaborate closely with regional Field Application Engineering (FAE) teams.
9. Prepare and deliver technical documentation and training on product and application levels.
