The
Infectious Disease Alliance (IDA)
is seeking a committed and experienced
Associate Director of Partnerships
to lead and coordinate our growing Partnership team. This is an
unpaid, part-time
leadership role – ideal for a purpose-driven professional seeking to contribute their skills and time to a mission-driven NGO advancing global health.
IDA currently brings together around 45 colleagues across the globe. Our Partnership team consists of five talented individuals working in a hybrid model: three based in Copenhagen and two working remotely. The new Director will play a key role in shaping and implementing IDA's Partnership strategy, expanding donor engagement, and supporting the long-term financial sustainability of our work.
Responsibilities
* Support IDA's overall Partnership strategy and operations.
* Oversee the work of the partnership team and coordinate donor mapping, proposal development, and grant reporting.
* Cultivate and manage relationships with institutional donors, philanthropic partners, and foundations.
* Ensure alignment of Partnership efforts with IDA's strategic priorities.
* Report to the Executive Director and collaborate closely with the leadership team.
Requirements
* Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Partnership, ideally within the international NGO or global health sector.
* Strong track record in securing grants and managing donor relations.
* Strategic mindset, strong leadership and coordination skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
