Due to our continued growth, we are actively seeking a seasoned treasuryprofessional to join our team to help with the development and recognitionof Zanders in the DACH region.
Our main locations in Austria is Vienna and we are potentially open toanother Austria-based hybrid location and work-from-home models.
Your Role
You will play a key role in developing and delivering our Financial RiskManagement propositions for Austrian and DACH-based financialinstitutions. You will be involved in business development, advisingclients, and managing complex projects across the risk spectrum (marketrisk, counterparty credit risk, XVA, margin models, derivatives pricing).
Depending on your seniority, you will:
* Senior Consultant – Act as a key project teammember or workstream lead, delivering high-quality quantitative analysesand models, and supporting business development activities.
* Manager / Senior Manager – Lead projects ormultiple workstreams, manage client relationships, guide junior teammembers, and actively contribute to expanding our presence in Austriaand the DACH region.
* Director – Drive the commercial strategy forFinancial Risk in the region, build and maintain a strong clientportfolio, and take overall responsibility for successful projectdelivery and team development.
You will collaborate with colleagues across our international FinancialInstitutions practice to deliver complex quantitative projects andinnovative solutions. Freedom, fun, teamwork and a growth mindset arecentral to how we work.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive the growth of Zanders’ Financial Risk Management services inAustria and the wider DACH region
* Identify and develop commercial opportunities with banks and otherfinancial institutions
* Represent Zanders at industry events and contribute to thoughtleadership
* Lead or contribute to financial risk transformation projects, regulatorychange programmes and related initiatives
* Act as a trusted advisor to clients in areas such as counterparty creditrisk, XVA, margin models and derivatives pricing
* Coach and mentor consultants and contribute to practice development
Skills to be successful
* Bachelor and/or Master in Finance, Economics or a similar field;certifications such as FRM or CFA are a plus
* Relevant experience in financial risk analytics within a bank, financialinstitution or consultancy
* Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to grow our financial riskoffering
* Ability to build and maintain professional networks in the DACH region
* Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
* Strong communication and presentation skills across technical andnon-technical audiences
* Willingness to travel within Austria and the DACH region
* Legally authorized to work in Austria
