LMS Energy is at the forefront of emissions reduction and renewable fuel innovation across Australia. We are currently recruiting for a full-time or part-time Electrical Maintenance Manager located in Prospect SA or Luscombe, QLD.
Reporting directly to the Group Executive – Engineering, this role will play a key role in enabling the Engineering team to deliver on key objectives through effective support and collaboration.
The Electrical Maintenance Manager will provide visible leadership to a team of Electrical Supervisors and Electricians, driving safe, compliant and high‑performing outcomes across the business. Accountable for electrical safety and standards, the role leads installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. As the organisation’s Electrical Responsible Person/Competent Person for LV/HV obligations, it partners with Operations, Projects, Engineering, Health and Safety, Asset Management, Procurement and with external stakeholders to deliver consistent, high‑quality performance.

Responsibilities
* Drive electrical safety leadership, ensuring effective electrical safety processes and controls (e.g. isolations/LOTO, permitting) are in place and followed
* Act as the business Electrical Responsible/Competent Person (LV/HV as applicable)
* Establish and maintain electrical competency frameworks, authorisations and licence compliance for employees and contractors
* Plan, coordinate and oversee electrical installation, commissioning, inspection, testing, and maintenance activities (including reactive and preventive maintenance) across sites
* Support capital and operational projects through design reviews, constructability input, commissioning readiness, and handover to operations
* Ensure electrical maintenance activities are planned, risk assessed, executed by authorised personnel and fully documented prior to return to service
* Maintain compliance by ensuring all electrical repair and maintenance activities are planned, executed, and completed in accordance with requirements
* Lead response to electrical incidents, including investigations, corrective actions, and regulator engagement where required.
* Manage contractor performance, scopes, permits, and compliance with company and statutory requirements
Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
* 10+ years’ experience in electrical services/maintenance/projects with 5+ years leading electricians/technical teams
* Experience with substations, power generation, protection and HV/LV distribution
* RPEQ (QLD) or Chartered status (CPEng) advantageous with the ability to act as Responsible Electrical Person where required
* Australian Drivers Licence
