Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic MLOps Engineer to join our product development team for Detekt, applying large-scale computer vision to Mobile Mapping data.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with machine learning and data engineers to deploy models into processing pipelines and production environments.
2. Design and manage GPU & CPU server infrastructure, including on-prem Kubernetes clusters and cloud deployments.
3. Manage data pipelines, storage systems, and synchronization processes for training and inference.
4. Own and maintain CI/CD pipelines (based on Gitlab).
5. Monitor model, pipeline, and infrastructure health;
set up logging for debugging and auditing.
6. Implement security best practices to protect models and data.
7. Create and maintain documentation of infrastructure, deployments, and system architecture.
Requirements
1. 3+ years of experience in data-driven environments.
2. Passion for AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.
3. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, AWS EKS.
4. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
5. Python skills, especially backend technologies (Flask, Postgres, SQLAlchemy).
6. Experience with software development workflows (Git, issue tracking, testing, CI/CD).
7. Data engineering knowledge (SQL, distributed systems).
8. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
9. Valid work permit for Austria.
