Senior Legal Counsel
Location: Graz, Austria
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance team. The organisation designs and delivers cutting‑edge technologies and software solutions that drive efficiency and sustainability in global warehousing and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal support for cross‑border projects in the areas of technology and data.
* Advise on legal aspects of digital products, software, and related risk management.
* Contribute to the development of AI governance and policy frameworks across technology, cybersecurity, and data domains.
* Manage data protection and privacy matters, supporting data governance processes.
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Develop company‑wide legal standards, policies, and model templates.
* Deliver training sessions and provide legal advice to management and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Degree in Law or Business Law.
* Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a technology‑focused company or law firm.
* Expertise in technology and data‑related legal topics, such as AI regulation, cybersecurity, data protection, IP, and contract law.
* Strong IT affinity and proficiency in MS Office.
* Excellent command of German and English.
* Willingness to travel occasionally.
