Aufgaben
* Writing a dissertation at the University of Graz in the area of surface science
* Characterisation of single molecules on surfaces using scanning tunnelling microscopy as well as spectroscopic methods
* Investigation of elementary chemical processes with ultra-high spatial and temporal resolution
* Presentation of scientific work both within the institute and at national/international conferences
* Independent teaching of courses and participation in teaching and examination tasks of the institute
* Supervision of students
* Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures
Profil
* Completed diploma or master's degree in the area of Chemistry or Physics
* Knowledge and/or practical experience in scanning probe methods, optics, ultra-high vacuum, or low-temperature experiments
* Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
* High degree of motivation, personal responsibility, and organisation
* Ability to work and communicate in a team
