Your Responsibilities:
* Serve as the key engineering contact for all development activities related to genset control, plant/master control, and alarm management systems; act as the single interface to PLM
* Collaborate with PLM, functional managers, and platform leaders to define and execute development strategies for control, master control, and actuation/ignition systems
* Approve all new development programs for control and master control, set standards for alarm management, and own the policy, process, and approval of all new alarms and concepts across Jenbacher product lines
* Lead the transition of customized plant-specific control solutions into scalable, standard product programs
* Work closely with leaders from order engineering to balance core and customized functionality, ensuring core controls remain robust and future-ready
* Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and project leaders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Spearhead analytics programs to drive continuous improvement and reliability enhancements across the product portfolio
* Report monthly project status directly to the CTO and play a key role in platform review days
Your Profile:
* Advanced degree (PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's) in Controls, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or similar)
* Proven ability to set and execute product development strategies
* Deep experience in reciprocating engine design and development
* Track record of collaboration in international, cross-functional teams; strategic thinker and systems problem solver
* Knowledge of lean management techniques
* Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and spoken, across diverse audiences
* Demonstrated leadership and the drive to inspire teams
* Willingness to travel and engage with global stakeholders
