Field Service Engineer (f/m/d)
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a Field Service Engineer located in Vienna, Austria. The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic systems, immunochemistry, clinical chemistry, and automation systems.
Responsibilities
* Installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic systems, immunochemistry, clinical chemistry, and automation systems.
* Compliance with applicable regulations (MPG, MedGV, VDE) and Beckman Coulter quality procedures.
* Orientation of laboratory users and answer technical questions from customers.
* Collaboration with sales, application, service hotline, and service disposition teams.
* Organization and optimization of personal spare parts inventory.
* Timely completion of all administrative tasks such as data entry of service reports with Service Max.
Qualifications
* Completed technical training or comparable education in a science‑technical field.
* Experience in electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, IT interfaces, and measurement technology.
* IT skills: comfortable with networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces, and able to set up and manage them.
* High degree of autonomy and self‑management.
* Fluent German (written and spoken).
* Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
* Travel availability; valid driver’s licence Class B.
Preferred Experience
* Experience in a technical service company, preferably in the healthcare sector.
* Knowledge of regulations and standards for IVDs.
