Responsibilities
1. Design, implement, and maintain automated tests, with a focus on systems using AI/ML models.
2. Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor regression runs, adjusting strategies for AI components.
3. Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, covering requirements, use cases, and AI-specific aspects such as performance, accuracy, robustness, and fairness.
4. Contribute actively to scrum ceremonies, offering feedback from both a user and AI quality perspective.
5. Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Developers, and AI Engineers from use case definition to model refinement to ensure testability.
6. Assess datasets for quality and bias, and evaluate their impact on AI model behavior.
7. Use foundational knowledge of machine learning and statistics to design meaningful tests and interpret AI results.
8. Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, especially in AI-related testing.
9. Work closely with QA colleagues and development teams across units to align on quality standards and address AI-specific challenges.
Qualifications
10. Solid experience in test automation, software development, or quality assurance.
11. Proficient in Python (preferred), Java, C#, JavaScript, or similar languages.
12. Strong understanding of QA principles and the software development lifecycle.
13. Ideally, knowledge of machine learning concepts, model training, and evaluation metrics.
14. Familiarity with testing AI models regarding accuracy, performance, fairness, and robustness.
15. Awareness of data quality, dataset splitting, and bias detection in AI contexts.
16. Understanding of ethical AI principles is a plus.
17. Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) and CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), as well as Jira and TestRail.
18. ISTQB Foundation certification or similar is a plus.
