Senior Payroll Administrator – Weekly Payroll
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for processing Heat and Control’s weekly payroll and superannuation, remitting government reporting.
Responsibilities
* Manage and process the weekly payroll for up to 100 employees.
* Check weekly site timesheets for accuracy.
* Manage the Kronos timekeeping system and timecards accurately reported ready for interfacing with the MicrOpay Meridian payroll system.
* Check and ensure remittance of all statutory payroll obligations (e.g. PAYG, workers compensation etc.)
* Complete all month end and year end accounting functions for the payroll including leave accruals and journals.
* Ensure the appropriate systems are in place to maintain data integrity and security of the payroll system.
Qualifications
* At least 10 years end to end payroll experience in a medium to large organisation.
* Sound accounting experience in reconciliations of payroll related accounts and accruals.
* Experience with manual and computer pay processes.
* In depth experience with Australian taxation and superannuation legislation.
* Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of awards and enterprise agreements.
* Meridian, Kronos and SAP (or other ERP system) experience will be highly regarded.
* Ability to work co‑operatively with other team members to achieve goals, prior supervisory experience a plus.
