This specific internship is suitable for students within a degree program in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Informatics or similar. In your new role you will:
* Manage laboratory equipment, including inventory, calibration, and repair
* Support IT infrastructure and ensure its optimal functioning
* Maintain accurate records and documents, including databases and training materials
* Provide ESD, safety, and logistic support
* Develop and execute measurement plans, including setup development and automation
* Assemble and test evaluation boards to support measurement and testing activities
* Provide automation support and programming activities
* Support on product characterization tasks
* Execute and monitor routine measurement activities

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months
Requirements
You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Informatics or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
* Good practice with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
* Programming skills as e.g. MATLAB
* Hardware skills as e.g. soldering technics is advantageous
* Experience with measurement equipment like scopes and meters as a plus
* Organizational skills and willingness to take over responsibility
* Eager to learn and grow in the semiconductor industry
* Fluency in English language with German as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
