As a Data Engineer within our department you are part of the Raiffeisen Group IT GmbH that takes care of all the Data requests from the Raiffeisen Building Society Savings and Loans ("Raiffeisen Bausparkasse").

Your mission
1. Manage data integration of multiple sources
2. Further development of data pipelines, etl-processes, data warehouse, data-interfaces, reports, and bi-solutions (OLAP, Dashboards)
3. Manage ad-hoc data analysis
4. Create proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and spikes
5. Proactively take care of code quality and testing
6. Address non-functional requirements
Your core competencies
7. Engineering mindset
8. Good understanding of DWH / Data Models (dimensional, data vault, relational, NoSQL)
9. Practical experience with ETL-Tools (Pentaho Data Integration or similar)
10. Professional experience with SQL, DBMS (PostgreSQL)
11. Familiarity with BI-Tools (QlikView / QlikSense or similar)
12. Know-How in software engineering concepts like Scrum, CI/CD, TDD
Nice to have
13. Experience in Linux / Bash
14. Familiarity with Cloud Technologies (e.g., Docker)
15. Knowledge in Python and Java
16. German language skills

25. Salary: the offered gross yearly salary starts from 45.000 Euro (basis full-time) excluding overtime, depending on qualification and experience
