Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of an integrated user experience across Mavie’s products and services, ensuring digital and physical touchpoints work cohesively to address customer needs and reflect a unified brand identity.
* Develop and implement design solutions that guarantee seamless and modern user and customer interactions.
* Establish and maintain effective digital design systems and workflows, using tools such as Figma for prototyping and partnering with developers for accurate handoff and implementation.
* Utilise tools such as GitHub repositories to integrate digital design assets.
* Conduct research and ethnographic studies to understand customer and user needs, behaviors, and pain points in both digital and physical contexts, especially within healthcare and wellbeing settings.
* Define design goals, project scope and success metrics focused on outcomes and experiences.
* Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and refine designs, focusing on accessibility, ease of interaction, and speed of adoption.
* Oversee the execution of designs, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints and that digital and physical spaces are unified under the same brand identity.
* Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, healthcare professionals, UX designers, developers, architects, and marketing teams.
* Build a community of user experience professionals within Mavie and its broader context, like UNIQA, and present design concepts and articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
Requirements
* Minimum 5‑7 years of proven experience in UX/experience design with a portfolio showcasing digital and physical product/service projects, ideally including work that promotes health and wellbeing.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Architecture, or a related field.
* Experience working on cross‑disciplinary projects.
* Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
* Understanding of human factors, ergonomics, and wellness‑centered design.
* Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, GitHub, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software.
* Up‑to‑date with design trends and passion for innovation.
* Working proficiency in German and English.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills: builds positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders through clear, effective communication, active listening, and empathy.
* Team‑oriented and collaborative: works well in team settings, supports colleagues, respects diverse perspectives, and contributes to collective success.
* Fast and efficient delivery: manages time effectively to meet deadlines, remains productive under pressure, and proactively solves problems to ensure high‑quality, timely results.
