IT Business Partner Austria & Group
In your role as IT Business Partner Austria & Group, you act as the key interface between Corporate IT and Austrian production sites as well as selected group functions. You ensure that business requirements are clearly understood, structured, and translated into value-driven IT initiatives aligned with the global IT strategy, architecture, and roadmap. By building strong stakeholder relationships, you actively contribute to digitalization, operational stability, and the effective delivery of IT services across both local and group-level environments.
Responsibilities
Drive strong partnerships as the primary IT interface for Austrian plants and assigned corporate/group functions
Build, influence, and sustain trusted relationships with key stakeholders to enable business success
Shape and translate business needs into impactful, value-driven IT initiatives
Own and actively manage the end-to-end demand lifecycle, ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery outcomes
Ensure alignment of local and functional initiatives with global IT strategy, architecture, and standards
Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence, service owners, and delivery teams to enable seamless execution
Contribute to prioritization and portfolio planning, balancing strategic value, operational needs, and compliance requirements
Provide clear transparency and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and expected business value realization
Profile
Several years of experience in IT‑business interface roles (e.g., IT Business Partner, Consultant, Demand Manager)
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or a comparable qualification, or equivalent professional experience
Solid understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, including applications, infrastructure, and service management
Experience in production environments and/or corporate functions within international organizations is an advantage
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
Familiarity with demand and portfolio management as well as IT service processes
Understanding of digitalization and automation in industrial and corporate contexts
Fluency in English; German language skills are highly desirable
