Redstone Commodity Search are working with a growing international commodities trading platform seeking to appoint a Senior Fertilizer Trader as part of its continued expansion across European agricultural and industrial markets.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced physical fertilizer trader with an established industry network, strong commercial instincts, and a proven ability to originate and execute profitable physical trading flows across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage physical fertilizer trading activity across European and international markets
* Originate and execute transactions across key fertilizer product groups including nitrogen, phosphates, potash, and speciality products
* Build and maintain relationships with producers, distributors, wholesalers, industrial consumers, and agricultural counterparties
* Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, logistics, and supply agreements across physical markets
* Identify new regional market opportunities and contribute to the broader growth strategy of the trading platform
Key Qualifications / Experience
* 7+ years’ experience within physical fertilizer trading environments
* Demonstrable track record generating profitable physical trading business and managing commercial relationships
* Strong understanding of fertilizer supply chains, logistics, storage, and international trade flows
* Existing network across producers, trading houses, distributors, and end-users within Urea + DAP Markets
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously within a fast-moving commercial environment
