Your Responsibilities:
* Architect, implement and maintain firmware modules in the field of IoT security
* Debugging of functional behaviour in cooperation with firmware test engineers
* Optimization of firmware modules for limited resource usage, low power consumption and security constraints
* Verification & validation of firmware including test implementation and execution
* Strong cooperation with hardware development
* Documentation for external functional & security certification schemes
Your Profile:
* University degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* Eager to learn, curious and open-minded
* Strong programming skills – you love to code
* Fast thinker and able to quickly adopt to new standards/tools/protocols
* Willingness to contribute to architecture decisions
* Several years practical experience in embedded software development for microcontrollers
* Solid understanding of embedded software design and verification methodologies
* Solid understanding of (32-bit) microcontroller architectures and digital hardware
* Experience in embedded programming languages (C, Assembler)
* Experience in working in multi-site, multi-national setups
* Knowledge of IoT cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus
* Knowledge of embedded security aspects (Cryptographic algorithms, TrustZone) is a plus
* Familiarity with other languages is a plus (Python, Groovy)
* Familiarity with object oriented programming is a plus
