Overview
ALDI SÜD Group – Performance Analyst role focusing on data analysis, performance monitoring and reporting to support country leadership and Group objectives.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate closely with an assigned country of the ALDI SÜD Group as a strategic Business Partner, ensuring comprehensive data analysis that translates into actionable insights, ultimately enhancing performance and aligning with the Group’s strategic goals.
* Proactively engage in business performance reviews with country leadership by presenting key findings, discussing implications and collaboratively developing measures for improvement.
* Source and rigorously analyse market trends and competitor activities to develop a deeper understanding of market dynamics, identifying emerging trends, assessing opportunities for growth and improvement and discovering potential threats.
* Manage timely and accurate reporting processes, overseeing ongoing monitoring and planning efforts for the country’s performance metric.
* Analyse and review operational KPIs to provide transparency about the country’s performance, linking these to the Group’s steering KPIs. Challenge data and act as sparring partner to uncover improvement opportunities.
* Provide ad-hoc analyses and assess local investment initiatives to determine potential impact and feasibility to support decisions.
* Serve as the primary contact for the national finance organisation and act as an interface between the country and wider Group Controlling, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
* Support senior management in making informed decisions by translating complex data and reports into clear narratives and presenting them in engaging formats.
Your profile
* Several years of working experience in Finance / Controlling / Accounting in an international corporate organisation.
* Degree in business administration, economics or finance.
* Experience in the (grocery) retail industry is a plus.
* Specialised qualifications or working experience in SAP FI / CO, SAP BW.
* Proficiency with BI tools and dashboards, queries, etc.
* Strong analytical skills with ability to identify drivers behind numbers and combine quantitative data with qualitative information.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
* Desire to work in dynamic environments and collaborate with international stakeholders.
* Business fluency in English.
