Requirements
* MSc (or BSc with substantial experience) in life sciences or related fields, or completed BMA/MTA education with significant experience in the field of animal models and cancer research
* At least 5 years of prior laboratory experience
* Work with mouse models; Felasa certification or equivalent
* Standard biochemical and molecular biology techniques, such as protein expression and purification (e.g. different antibody formats), evaluation of protein/antibody interactions, FACS and execution of enzymatic and cellular assays
* Standard cell culture techniques (BSL1/BSL2), including cultivation and expansion of primary human and mouse cells
* Proactive and self-organized working style
* High level of accuracy and reliability
* Strong written and oral communication skills in English and German
* Additional beneficial qualifications: prior experience in laboratory management
Responsibilities
* Contributing to the planning and taking direct responsibility for conducting, analyzing, and documentating experiments
* Continuously developmenting and optimizing assays and methods
* Establishing, updating and improving work-related SOPs
* Supporting the processing of primary human and mouse material
* Participating in the organization and management of the laboratory to ensure smooth workflows, including ordering supllies, preparing reagents, and mantaining equipment functionality
