Details of the Volunteers for International Experience (VIE) program:
* Assignments are open for citizens of European Union countries between 18 and 28 years.
* A VIE assignment will be in a country other than that of the candidate's nationality.
* Never have worked in Austria.
* Assignment lasts from 12 to 24 months, renewable once within a cumulative limit of 24 months.
* Compensation (non-taxable) linked to the cost of living index and set by Business France: 2,956.70 € per month in Austria (update 1st of April 2025).
* Set up by public sector statute in France, managed by the Business France organization.
* International social protection is extended to eligible parties.
* 2.5 days of holiday per month.
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Finance Project Analyst to join us in Vienna, Austria under the VIE Program.
The Finance Project Analyst will support the lead Project Finance Manager in various controlling tasks for the projects. He or she participates in the overall Project Management process and supports the Project Finance Manager.
Your Role:
* Support project invoicing to the customer.
* Track the cash collected from the customer and monitor overdue payments.
* Maintain records in systems like SAP, G4, etc., ensuring reconciliation with the project’s financials.
* Assist the Finance Project Manager in Work Package Review by providing data and preliminary analysis on costs.
* Support FPM in project audits (both statutory and internal).
* Prepare monthly dashboards on key performance indicators of the project.
Competencies & Skills:
* Bachelor/Master in Economics, Finance, or Business.
* Background in finance and/or accounting required.
* Experience in the project industry is a plus.
* Good communication skills across all organizational levels.
* Team player with an open-minded attitude.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SAP R/3.
* Fluent in English; German skills are an asset.
