A rare opportunity exists to join our highly successful team as an Equity Dealer Principal. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced DP to drive our Cricks Highway dealership to the next level. In this role, you will oversee the entire operation of the multi-franchised dealership from Sales to Service activities, and you will be responsible for creating a positive work culture that motivates staff to achieve goals and provide exceptional customer service.

Cricks Highway is Springwood’s (Brisbane's southside) trusted home for leading brands including Volkswagen, Subaru, Kia, Renault, Ssangyong, Volvo, Jac Motors, Xpeng, Zeeker, and Deepal, plus our extensive range of quality used vehicles. Cricks Highway is part of the AutopactGroup, one of Australia's largest and growing automotive dealership groups. Across our 32 dealerships along the eastern seaboard, we represent 38 of the top car brands in Australia.

About you:

* Extensive experience as a Dealer Principal within the automotive industry
* Strong financial and operational management capabilities
* Thorough understanding of industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices
* A proven track record of driving both sales and fixed operations performance
* Inspirational leadership and the ability to cultivate a high-performance culture
* Clear, confident communication and negotiation skills
* A deep appreciation for the brand we represent, values, and customers
* Capacity to work autonomously while aligning with strategic group goals

About the role:

The Dealer Principal is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealership's daily operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional customer service. This role involves managing various departments, including new and used sales, fixed operations, finance, aftercare, and administration to achieve the dealership's goals and objectives.

* Leadership and Management: Hire, train, and motivate department managers. Conduct performance evaluations and ensure all departments operate efficiently.
* Financial Management: Carefully monitor budgets, expenses, and financial reports to maintain profitability.
* Customer Relations: Address elevated customer concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Team Building: Foster a positive work environment, build team morale, and encourage professional development among team members and key stakeholders.
* Communication: Act as a liaison between the dealership, manufacturers, and third parties. Communicate expectations clearly to team members and remove obstacles to their success.
