As NSM, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and strategic SALES leadership of Smart-OSS. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will play a critical role in driving sales, managing customer engagement, expanding the SALES team. Your leadership will be pivotal in scaling the business footprint across Oceania while maintaining the integrity of our partnership with OSS Systems UK.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all sales activities across the region.
Identify key sales channels and growth opportunities aligned with our product strengths.
Oversee sales pipeline development and conversion strategies.
Drive the marketing strategy, including digital, events, and content.
Collaborate with the marketing consultant to execute campaigns and initiatives.
Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning in the market.
Manage all customer interactions, from sales to post-implementation support.
Develop a scalable support function as the business grows.
Champion a customer-first culture across the business.
Maintain and strengthen our strategic relationship with OSS Systems.
Liaise regularly to support product development, support services, and commercial strategies.
Adapt global solutions for local market needs.
Lead recruitment efforts to scale the team in line with business growth.
Design and implement onboarding, training, and staff development programs.
Create a high-performance culture aligned with company values and goals.
Prepare and present annual budgets and operational plans.
Approve staff-related expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
Collaborate with the Finance Director on monthly financial reporting, forecasts, and performance analysis.
Provide strategic input on product development and localisation.
Work closely with OSS Systems UK to influence the product roadmap.
Adjust pricing and packaging strategies for profitability and local relevance.
Represent Smart-OSS across Oceania, including on-island visits where required.
Visit and collaborate closely with our target market to increase the customer base and sales
Key Attributes & Skills
Proven leadership experience in a NSM or senior operational role, preferably HOSPITALITY with strong PMS interaction
Strong commercial acumen with a focus on sales growth and profitability.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with or within software/SaaS businesses is highly desirable, see PMS exposure above
Ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a scaling environment.
Comfortable working across cultures and geographies, with occasional travel required.
