YOUR CONTRIBUTION
* You will be responsible for planning and implementing our patch management for Windows and Linux systems. In doing so, you will ensure that all systems remain reliable, secure, and up to date.
* You will manage and update our server and client infrastructure while keeping an eye on stability and availability.
* You will manage our backup systems, such as Veeam or Commvault, and ensure they remain up-to-date and fully functional. Using out-of-band management solutions like HPE iLO, you will maintain systems and efficiently resolve issues remotely.
* You automate patching processes using PowerShell or Bash, monitor the status, and generate clear reports. You perform tests alongside updates, carry out rollbacks as needed, and analyze errors in a structured manner.
* You work closely with IT Security and Infrastructure teams to jointly ensure a stable and secure system environment.
YOUR SKILLSET
* For this role, you have completed technical training, such as an apprenticeship, IT training, or a technical college degree. You are interested in operating systems, networks, and ideally also in topics related to updates and system stability.
* You take a structured approach and maintain a clear overview even when managing multiple parallel patch cycles. In close coordination with your team, you find pragmatic solutions and implement them reliably.
* You communicate clearly and calmly, even when things get hectic, such as during critical updates or system failures. You work in a solution-oriented manner and take responsibility for your systems.
* Reliability, attention to detail, and high quality standards are second nature to you.

* Experience with virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
* Knowledge of cloud infrastructures

Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary for this position starts at a gross annual salary at around EUR 43,456. We offer an overpayment (even significant ones) which is based on your individual qualifications and professional experience.
