As Operations Manager you will be responsible for the daily operations of the outbound/inbound and warehouse planning departments in Munich or Berlin. Your responsibilities will include recruitment, training, health & safety, scheduling, order accuracy to support on-time delivery, continuous improvement and loss prevention. Your leadership skills will be critical in defining the processes, procedures and systems required to support and sustain our long term growth in a fast paced environment.

Tasks:
* Ensure on-time delivery of inbound/outbound tasks by initiating, coordinating and enforcing programme, operational and personnel policies/procedures.
* Drive processes to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and accuracy.
* Maintaining quality, safety and efficiency through employee involvement and teamwork.
* Plan and assign tasks to maintain warehouse operational requirements and follow up on work results.
* Ensure inventory accuracy through audits and preventative measures.
* Comply with warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements.
* Monitoring the physical conditions and appearance of the warehouse and implementing 5S practices.
* Recruiting, selecting and training employees to form a capable team.
* Developing employee performance through appraisal, coaching and counselling.
* Establishing safety practices and ensuring that the team adheres to them.
What you bring to the table:
* Experience in a leadership role within a warehouse environment, particularly e-commerce and FMCG.
* Knowledge of WMS, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage.
* Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism.
* Proven ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships in a warehouse.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both cross-functionally and as part of a team.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
* Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and schedule tasks efficiently.
* Knowledge of safety practices and 5S best practices.
* Experience in implementing WMS.
* High motivation and drive.
