Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join our team.
This role is ideal for a Senior Accountant looking to step into a more client-facing advisory role, working directly with business owners rather than purely compliance work.

The Opportunity
As a Client Manager, you will manage a portfolio of SME and high-net-worth clients while delivering high-quality accounting, tax and advisory services.
You will act as the primary relationship manager for your clients, supported by our administration, bookkeeping and accounting team to ensure efficient delivery of services.
This role offers exposure to a diverse client base and the opportunity to become involved in strategic advisory engagements and complex client structures.
The Type of Work You’ll Be Involved In
Unlike many traditional accounting firms, our work extends well beyond compliance.
You will work closely with business owners and family groups on matters such as:
Business structuring and restructures
Strategic tax planning
Succession and intergenerational wealth planning
Advisory for growing SME businesses
Property investment and development structures
Family office support for high-net-worth clients
Business acquisitions, exits, and strategic planning
This provides exposure to complex client groups and advisory engagements rarely available in typical suburban accounting firms.

In this role you will work directly with business owners, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth families across a wide range of industries.

You will work closely with senior advisors within the firm and gain exposure to strategic business decisions, tax structuring, and long-term wealth planning.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of SME and high-net-worth clients
Act as the primary point of contact for client queries and advisory matters
Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns
Work across companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSFs
Provide proactive tax, structuring and business advice
Review work prepared by intermediate accountants
Assist with workflow management and team coordination
Identify opportunities to add value through additional advisory services
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service
About You
Minimum 3+ year’s experience in a senior role within a public practice accounting firm
CA or CPA qualified
Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
Experience managing clients and reviewing work
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively
Strong attention to detail and commercial mindset

Competitive salary package - $95,000 – $125,000 + Super (depending on experience)
