Senior (Data Scientist) (m/f/d)
Machine Learning Reply GmbH is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Vienna, Austria. This consultant works on leading-edge technology projects for clients across industries such as banking, insurance, automotive and retail. You will design and implement end‑to‑end data‑science solutions, from data architecture and infrastructure to machine‑learning model deployment.

* Identify and analyse problem solutions and discuss them with the customer.
* Propose and discuss effective solutions, develop, optimise and deploy them into production.
* Develop state‑of‑the‑art algorithms, implement them and automate workflows in an agile environment.
* Stay up‑to‑date on the cutting edge of technology and work together with market‑leading technology companies.
* Serve as the point of connection between the technical team and management, realising business needs.

Qualifications
* Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable.
* Solid experience with Python, JavaScript or Java.
* Excellent software engineering skills: algorithms and data structures, object‑oriented programming, CI/CD, automated testing, optimisation and clean code.
* Sound knowledge of machine learning and statistics, ideally with expertise in at least one area (NLP, recommender systems, time series, computer vision).
* Knowledge of cloud services from AWS or Azure, or experience with on‑premise deployment.
* Experience prioritising customer needs and delivering business‑value solutions.
* Experience with agile development concepts like Scrum.
* Excellent German skills, good English skills, willingness to travel if required.
