Senior Medical Sytems Engineer (f/m/x)
Full-time (38.5 hours per week) / unlimited
A job where you can make a difference:
* Participation in the development of a medical system used for ion beam therapy in accordance to ISO 13485.
* Supporting the specification, purchasing and installation phases of patient positioning and position verification systems.
* Supporting the design of the nozzle of an ion beam therapy system
Skills that make you our strength:
* Academic studies (Masters degree or PhD) in medical engineering, physics, mechanical engineering or similar
* Experience in working with quality standards (e.g. ISO 13485)
* Project Management Skills is desirable
* Experience with patient positioning systems and radiation therapy workflows is desirable
* Work experience in medical device development is an advantage
* A strong interest in particle therapy and treatment planning and ideally experience in these areas is an advantage
* Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
* Good written and verbal communication in English language
* Willingness to travel in Austria and abroad

For the advertised position we offer a minimum gross annual salary from € 46,781 (on a full-time basis) based on the classification in use group 4 of the collective agreement for white-collar workers in the metal industry, with the possibility of overpayment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
