We are agap2, a consulting company in Science and Engineering. We support leading clients in complex industrial and energy infrastructure projects, including automation, electrification and system engineering.
Tasks
* Primary engineering for HV substations (AIS/GIS) in the range 110–380 kV (new-build, retrofit, extensions, upgrades).
* Development of substation layouts, equipment arrangement and space planning (basic design & detailed design).
* Planning of cable routing, trenching/empty conduits and cable lists (including building / indoor routing where applicable).
* Engineering and documentation of grounding and lightning protection concepts (incl. material lists and drawings).
* Preparation of technical documentation such as component datasheets, quantities/BOMs, and interface documents.
* Coordination with internal teams and suppliers (e.g., steel structure design integration) and alignment with customer requirements.
* Support in project execution with creation of installer-ready documentation and assembly drawings.
* Participation in design reviews and technical clarifications with customers and stakeholders.
Your profile
* Degree in Electrical Engineering / Energy Technology or similar.
* Senior experience in Primary Engineering for HV substations.
* Solid know-how in AIS and/or GIS substation design up to 380 kV.
* Strong understanding of applicable standards (e.g., DIN/VDE, IEC/EN).
* Confident working with AutoCAD (BricsCAD/Brimtech is a plus).
* Independent and structured working style, strong technical communication skills.
* Very good German due to customer documentation and project communication.
* Good English is beneficial for international interfaces.
