Working alongside our Experienced Centre Leadership team, your role will be to ensure that our children, families and team feel genuine warmth, care and professionalism within our space as children transition to the centre.

About the Role
As our Assistant Director and Room Leader you will be responsible for coaching, guiding and mentoring a team of dedicated educators, bringing your passion for care and early education through the design and development of an age appropriate curriculum and routine. You will help to mentor future leaders and complete duties both on and off the floor helping to ensure that Adelaide Early Learning becomes known quickly as a leader in early childhood education through our positive community engagement and high-quality programs!

Operational Excellence
Deliver high-quality early childhood program that values children, families and educators
Build, support and guide a team in your room and broader across the centre
Implement policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and Adelaide EL standards.
Safety & Compliance
Champion Adelaide EL safety framework to maximise the wellbeing of children and team.
Champion our Safe Sleep initiatives and practices throughout the centre
Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture, inspiring a diverse team to achieve shared goals.
Mentor and support staff through professional development and engagement initiatives.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance Adelaide EL reputation and culture.
About You
You are a genuine and accountable person who has a positive mindset. A person that truly cares about families, children and team, with proven experience working with infants and toddlers. You thrive in a busy environment and have the skills and experience to deliver exceptional outcomes for children, families, and educators.
Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights including Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or appropriate working visas.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in a similar Team Leading/ Management role or dedication to learn within early childhood education or share with us why you are ready for the 'next step' in your Early Childhood career.
Either a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field is required.
