Project: Start : January Duration : First contract 4 months-high chance of extension; Capacity: FULL-time Workplace: Remote/On-site Project languages : English (Fluent), German is big advantage As an experienced CATIA V5 Design Engineer, you will join the team responsible for the development and detailing of plastic roof systems. Your primary focus will be on the final refinement and preparation of components for manufacturing: Detailing work on existing 3D models and assemblies (fine-tuning, tolerances, adjustments for manufacturing feasibility). Design and modification of components for roof systems (e.g., trim strips, seals, functional parts). Work on plastic parts (injection molding) and deep-drawn parts. Creation and optimization of routing for plastic components. Occasional minor 3D design adjustments (bulk of modeling work is complete). Your Profile Proven experience in design and construction within the automotive sector. Excellent knowledge and proficiency in CATIA V5 (mandatory). Expertise in developing plastic components and their manufacturing processes (injection molding, deep drawing). High attention to detail and quality consciousness.
