As an experienced
CATIA V5 Design Engineer
, you will join the team responsible for the development and detailing of
plastic roof systems
. Your primary focus will be on the final refinement and preparation of components for manufacturing:
* Detailing work on existing 3D models and assemblies (fine-tuning, tolerances, adjustments for manufacturing feasibility).
* Design and modification of components for roof systems (e.g., trim strips, seals, functional parts).
* Work on plastic parts (injection molding) and deep-drawn parts.
* Creation and optimization of routing for plastic components.
* Occasional minor 3D design adjustments (bulk of modeling work is complete).
Your Profile
* Proven experience in design and construction within the automotive sector.
* Excellent knowledge and proficiency in
CATIA V5
(mandatory).
* Expertise in developing plastic components and their manufacturing processes (injection molding, deep drawing).
* High attention to detail and quality consciousness.
