Your Responsibilities
1. You will assume technical responsibility for the entire development process, either in one of our client projects or directly in our product development. You will have the opportunity to coordinate and lead a development team.
2. Your task is to develop a comprehensive technical solution concept in the field of insurance core systems and to continuously optimize our Java-based products. You will implement our Java-based software solutions at clients' sites and serve as their contact for technical and organizational questions.
3. In your daily work, you will use both agile and traditional project management methods to ensure project success.
What You Bring
1. You bring extensive and solid professional experience in software development and integration. You also have experience in the technical leadership of development teams. Your broad knowledge of Java, Jakarta EE, and Spring is a plus.
2. Your wide-ranging skills in developing modern web applications within complex system landscapes are valuable. You also have expertise in frontend development, for example with Vaadin or Angular.
3. You are comfortable with development infrastructures such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. You have an interest and intuition for translating our clients' technical requirements into high-quality software solutions.
4. Your teamwork and strong communication skills contribute to good collaboration within the team and with clients.
5. You have at least C1 level proficiency in German and good to very good English skills.
