Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten As Sales Director, you will take global responsibility for the strategic and operational management of international sales at Bruker Alicona. You will actively shape revenue development, strengthen the market position of our products, and build sustainable relationships with customers and sales partners worldwide – always with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.

Team size: approx. 30 employees worldwide
Scope of responsibility: ~40 million USD annual revenue, 6 international markets
Your Responsibilities
Develop and implement global sales strategies in close collaboration with executive management and regional leadership
Lead and further develop an international sales team of around 30 employees across Austria, Germany, France, China, the USA, and Italy
Manage and expand indirect sales channels worldwide in cooperation with other departments (Marketing, Application Engineering, Service)
Take responsibility for achieving global sales targets and forecasts in line with the Bruker Alicona Sales Approach
Build and maintain an effective sales funnel using our CRM system
Identify and acquire new customers while managing existing key accounts
Prepare quotations and oversee the entire order process
Collaborate closely with the Application Engineering and Global Sales Operations teams
Qualifikationen Completed higher education with a strong academic foundation
Several years of experience in international sales leadership roles, ideally in a technical or industrial environment
Proven leadership experience in multicultural teams
Sales management experience in an international niche market is a strong plus
Solid background in industrial sales and selling complex, high-tech products
Proficient in SAP and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce), with strong skills in analyzing key sales metrics and planning related forecasts
Knowledge in the field of metrology is always an advantage
Entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative approach with executive leadership
Strong focus on sales activities rather than consulting
Leadership skills with a clear strategic vision and strong interpersonal sensitivity
Intercultural competence for effective collaboration with international customers
Fluent in English and good command of German; additional languages are a plus
Willingness to travel globally
