Locomotive Driver
1. Inspecting and accepting the traction unit in accordance with specified guidelines, including verifying safety equipment and commissioning the unit
2. Reviewing and ensuring completeness and currency of necessary documents, conducting brake tests, and checking train data
3. Performing train, shunting, and special operations in compliance with regulatory standards, considering signals, orders, routes, and operating the locomotive
4. Troubleshooting traction unit issues following safety protocols
5. Conducting vehicle checks and assisting in securing vehicle load
6. Handling customer service tasks as per orders
7. Depositing or handing over the traction unit to the replacement, including necessary closing activities and depositing train documents
8. Completing damage reports, arranging vehicle decommissioning, conducting coupling activities, and securing locomotives and wagons
Requirements
Requirements:
9. Completed training as a train driver
10. 2+ years of working experience as a Locomotive Driver
11. Completed apprenticeship, preferably in technical professions, or upper secondary level education
12. Participation in periodic training and continuing education courses
13. Successful periodic knowledge review
14. Knowledge of German, both written and spoken (B2 level based on the European Framework of Reference for Languages)
