About the Positions
Leadership roles responsible for the safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance of either the Wet or Dry Processing Departments. Leading teams of Shift Leads and Operators to execute the daily production plan with excellence and ensuring we deliver for our customers while adhering to Kerry’s Global Standards. These roles are critical to optimizing Kerry’s promise of being a trusted, reliable partner.
Key Responsibilities
Drive a culture of safety first! Ensure all team members are working safely, and all procedures are followed
Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP and EHS standards at every stage
Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain Teams to build strong relationships and working as one team
Manage production scheduling, labour planning, and resource allocation to maximise output
Engage, manage, coach, and develop your team members through effective people management strategies ensuring the capability of people to achieve individual, team, and overall site objectives
Manage departmental operational budgets and costs, focusing on productivity, labour efficiency, material usage and conversion costs
Generate and analyse performance reports (safety, quality, production, cost) and communicate results to the Site Management Team
Conduct training and performance reviews for production staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment
Identify, drive, and embed continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency programs to reduce waste and improve processes
About you
Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a production supervision or management role within a food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical processing environment. Experience in a powder handling, spray drying, evaporation, or liquid processing environment is highly desirable
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of processing/packaging equipment
A solid understanding of food safety standards (HACCP) and quality systems (SQF or BRC)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate cross-functionally to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders
A strong leader who can engage, coach, and develop a diverse team
Demonstrated commitment to EHS compliance and safety culture
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
The ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and make sound decisions
