We are looking for an experienced and motivated Credit Risk Manager to join our Asset‑Based Risk Management team in Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) in Vienna.
The team focuses on asset-based finance structures, including mainly Receivables Purchase (factoring, securitization), Payables Finance and Collateralized Loan Obligations. In addition, the role contributes to the securitisation of RBI’s own asset portfolios, with a focus on risk, regulatory and governance aspects.
Please note that this role is limited to a duration of 1 year.
Your mission at RBI:
* Perform credit risk assessments and prepare risk recommendations for decision‑making bodies, including credit committees.
* Monitor and manage risk at transaction and portfolio level.
* Collaborate with origination teams on deal structuring and challenge terms to ensure balanced risk profiles.
* Conduct customer due diligence, including on‑site visits when required.
* Develop and maintain market, product and regulatory expertise, including tracking regulatory changes.
* Contribute to risk governance, including the development and improvement of policies and standards.
* Lead or support cross‑functional projects and initiatives, providing risk expertise across the organisation.
Your core competencies:
* Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a comparable field.
* Several years of experience in banking, preferably in corporate finance or asset‑based finance, typically gained over at least 3 years in a comparable role.
* Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to assess complex financing structures.
* A risk‑aware mindset combined with a broader business perspective.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a constructive, solution-oriented manner.
* Demonstrates initiative and drives structural projects and cross‑functional initiatives forward.
* Proficient in English for written and verbal communication; German language as an advantage.
