Overview
Therapy Sales Specialist Diabetes (m/w/d) at Medtronic. Remote position covering the region Oberösterreich und Niederösterreich (Linz - St. Pölten); home address is the primary work location. Some meetings may require occasional presence at a Medtronic office.
Responsibilities
* Active marketing and selling of Medtronic's Diabetes portfolio within a defined geographic territory to achieve sales targets
* Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, especially medical professionals in clinics and practices
* Plan and conduct trainings and information sessions for medical staff on optimal use of the Medtronic portfolio
* Organize and deliver patient trainings, including annual planning, consultation hours, and individual clinical support
* Create and regularly update account plans and report in the CRM system (Salesforce “Lightning”)
* Forecasting and market analyses for the region, including competitive monitoring and development of strategic actions to position Medtronic in the market
* Contribute to regional execution of marketing, sales, and training strategies in the diabetes area
Required Knowledge and Experience
* Bachelor in medical technology or related field
* Established sales profile with experience managing and developing a sales territory and expanding existing and new customer relationships in the medical or medical technology sector
* Practical knowledge of diabetes product solutions and services; familiarity with Medtronic product portfolio is a plus
* Experience planning, executing, and evaluating training and sales activities with initiative and strategic foresight
* Ability to analyze complex customer requirements and present tailored solutions
* Proficiency with CRM systems, forecasting, and sales metric analysis
* Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and high customer orientation
* Strong social skills and understanding of challenges associated with chronic diseases
