As our new Operations Manager in Austria, you will manage Quality and Production Operations for our site in Eggelsberg during a period of transformation. A key focus of the role will be improving operational excellence across the manufacturing value chain while supporting the evolution of our manufacturing footprint through closer collaboration with external manufacturing partners. Working as part of the local management team, you will have consistent cross‑functional collaboration to improve performance, processes, and build a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Oversee Quality, Production, and Industrial Engineering functions, ensuring high operational performance, quality, delivery reliability, and cost competitiveness.
Execute manufacturing transformation initiatives, including continuous improvement, Lean deployment, process optimization, and operational efficiency across internal and external production networks.
Collaborate across functions to enhance the end‑to‑end value chain, supporting sourcing strategies, industrialization activities, and business growth.
Develop and empower effective teams while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Extensive leadership experience in complex manufacturing environments, with previous knowledge in overseeing operational transformation and performance improvement.
University degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
Advanced skills in manufacturing operations, quality management, and industrial engineering, with the ability to translate strategy into operational results.
Demonstrated experience working with external manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, suppliers, or global production networks.
Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies; Six Sigma certification.
Ability to communicate and collaborate across functions, building productive partnerships with stakeholders.
A people‑focused and inclusive leadership approach, with experience building engagement, developing people, and leading teams through change.
Professional proficiency in English is required. German language skills are highly valued to support effective collaboration across the local organization.

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 6 397.78 EUR monthly for a full‑time position as of May 2025.
