ProPursuit is currently looking for an experienced Java Developer for a Global IT Consultancy client of ours based in Vienna.
They work for one of the biggest European retail market players providing applications and services serving millions of customers each and every day. Your work will primarily be the technical conception and development of backend services to support and ensure the data flow and integration between the services and the applications.
Your role:
* Conception and design of applications mainly developed in Java with Springboot and Gradle
* Maintaining deployment pipelines on Gitlab
* Implement access to 3rdparty APIs
* Ensure the functionality of our services and applications running on Kubernetes
Your profile:
* At least 3 years of experience in Java software development.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
* Experience in integrating with third-party tools to increase additional functionality
* Very good proficiency with technologies like Java (full stack), Oracle, PLSQL, REST API
* English fluency, German would be a plus
* Nice to have but not mandatory: Azure, Hibernate, Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic Search or Solr, BDD/DDD/TDD,
* Springboot and Gradle
