Production Preparation Engineer
Eaton is looking for a Production Preparation Engineer for our plant in Suchdol nad Luznici or Schrems in the electrical sector – enclosures/power distribution components.
Job Profile
* Translates LVSA engineering output into structured, production‑ready manufacturing packages – ensuring that materials, routing, work instruction and documentation are fully prepared before assembly starts.
* Converts engineering design (eBOM) into manufacturing structure (mBOM).
* Defines assembly routing, sequence, workstations and standard times.
* Prepares work instructions and production documentation.
* Ensures material readiness and kitting structure.
* Supports capacity planning and workload estimation.
* Manages engineering changes in production data.
* Executes mechanical engineering for customized parts.
* Provides documentation for copper processing and sheet‑metal customization.
* Drives continuous improvement and standardization.

Technical education (electrical or mechanical)
* Czech language, communicative level German and/or English.
* Basic technical understanding.
* Problem‑solving skills and technical affinity.
* Confidence in handling MS Office and SAP or a comparable ERP – an advantage.
