[Job] Production Manager – Sports & Culture – Red Bull

Join our Production Management Team in Salzburg, Austria and oversee the production of a variety of sports and culture events, whether they are long‑form, short‑form, live or non‑live.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* In this role, you’ll oversee end‑to‑end production operations (planning, budgeting, scheduling and contracts) across the Red Bull Media Network, work closely with internal teams and external production partners to deliver on time and on budget, and drive the implementation and tracking of green, sustainable production practices.
* You’ll oversee all stages of production – planning, budgeting, scheduling and contracts – and manage production‑related needs across Red Bull Media Network, ensuring each production is delivered smoothly, efficiently, safely, within budget and on deadline.
* You’ll use your common sense and eye for detail to solve problems and “fight fires” when things don’t go to plan, be involved from initial planning through to final delivery, ensuring all contractual obligations are met, and act as the linchpin between all involved stakeholders and departments.
* You’ll work hand in hand with other departments involved in the production process, ensuring smooth collaboration and increased efficiency throughout, and build a strong network of established companies and talent, including new production partners, creatives, and vendors.
* You’ll handle all financial documentation using global templates, set up filing and support systems based on the global structure, report on all financial and contractual matters to the Head of Production or Production Executive(s) and the Finance team, and play a pivotal role in implementing, tracking and promoting green production initiatives across all projects.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
* 5+ years of experience working in a production management environment across live and non‑live content, including traditional, studio‑based, event‑based, and remote broadcast models.
* Thorough understanding of the production, editorial and technical processes involved in creating a range of programmes in various formats, from long‑form to short‑form, for different platforms.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant broadcasting regulations, relevant legislation regulations, and associated procedures, including copyright, data protection and public liability.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail and a methodical approach to your tasks.
* Fluent in English. Other languages are not required but will be considered an asset (e.g. German).
