Job Description:
* You will support the head of department in the planning, organisation and implementation of courses and further training, including the preparation of timetables for the following programmes: University course and non-degree Master's programme Library and Information Studies, Library, Information and Documentation (BID) course, Austria-wide continuing education programme 4L - Lifelong Learning for Librarians
* You act as a contact person for lecturers, students, participants and cooperation partners and support them in all organisational and administrative matters
* You will take on administrative tasks in the context of study and course organisation, such as maintaining data in university administration systems and learning platforms
* You will work closely with national and international partner institutions in the field of library education and training and participate in working committees, conferences and network meetings for further development
Your profile:
* For this position, you will have a university degree, ideally supplemented by specialised library training, such as the "Library and Information Studies" university course
* Ideally, you have experience in organising courses or further education and training programmes. In addition, you have didactic and methodological skills that you can use in the planning and implementation of educational programmes
* Confident handling of MS Office applications and relevant software tools is essential for this position
* You also have excellent written and spoken German language skills at level C1
* You have excellent communication and organisational skills as well as an independent and structured way of working
* You are able to handle complex tasks independently and maintain an overview even in challenging situations
For this position in job group IIIb, a minimum gross salary of € 3.071 per month (14 times) * is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
