We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who enjoys taking ownership, thinking beyond individual tickets and actively shaping a growing platform.
In our environment, backend engineering means more than implementation. You will be involved in technical decision-making, architectural evolution and improving how we build and run our systems. As we grow, this role can naturally evolve towards technical leadership or a lead position, depending on your interests and strengths. What You'll Do
Drive the further development of our backend systems and services
Take part in architectural decisions and backlog prioritization
Refactor and improve existing codebases, reducing technical debt
Build and enhance APIs to make our platform more accessible and scalable
Automate internal processes to support business teams and customers
Take shared ownership of DevOps topics, including deployment, monitoring and reliability
Orchestrate Docker containers for stable deployments on AWS
Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines (e.g. Drone.io, Cypress)
Create and maintain clean, sustainable documentation What You Bring
Strong experience with backend development in a production environment
In-depth understanding of Django and Django REST framework or similar
