We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry.Job ResponsibilitiesIs the lead engineer of a development program (product), making sure that mechanical and electrical hardware and the tool software work together to meet the system specificationOwns developing the system specification based on the product specification and configuration optionsIs accountable for resolving design tradeoffs/conflicts to ensure the design is integrated, such that the overall product performs as described in the system specificationAssures that the system meets engineering- and compliance standards (e.g. SEMI S2 compliance), especially in the concept and detailed design phasesOwns system level safety conceptOwns BOM (bill of material) architecturePrepares all required program/product related Engineering deliverables (e.g. FMEA, technical specifications, risk analyses)Technical responsible that all interfaces for the entire product are well defined and workingParticipates in the cost allocation model and assures that designs meet the cost targetsOwns the reliability design approach and the design validation planMinimum QualificationsMaster or PhD in one of the following areas:System EngineeringElectrical EngineeringMechanical EngineeringMechatronic / Automation EngineeringExperience of at least 10 years in Engineering or 7 years in the semiconductor equipment marketExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeProfessional presentation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishDemonstrates high flexibility, significant technical independence, a structured working style and high working accuracy in a dynamic environment with competing prioritiesStrong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs and deadlinesExcellent social skills with ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams (e.g. customers, internal and external partners)Strong analytical skills and ability to lead and influence cross functional teamsWhat We're OfferingThis position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group G, depending on education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
