Job Description
Within Northwest Europe Finance Team, the
Accounting To Report Senior Specialist
(fixed-term) will be in charge of Germany & Austria accounting in collaboration with ATR colleague based in Germany and with ESS FS Colleagues based in Portugal, in a context of maternity leave (fixed-term for months).
With ATR Colleagues, this position is responsible end-to-end for the results of the commercial & services legal entities according to American (US GAAP) and local accounting standards. It covers all accounting, tax, treasury and Internal Control activities carried out locally or through a Shared Services Center or Center of Excellence (CoE).
This position interacts with the Shared Services Center and all of the company's departments in order to guarantee:
 * high quality of monthly/annual accounts and Group reporting,
 * compliance with tax obligations,
 * high support of services towards internal partners,
 * internal control and compliance of activities under its responsibility.
Role Responsibilities
General Accounting
 * Perform monthly activities in full respect with global & local requirements (GE Sickfund accruals, Sales Incentives accruals, pension plan accruals.. )
 * Review governmental rebates
 * Coordinate and follow up on "Account to Report" activities in relation with ESS FS team
 * Perform monthly closing activities with all stakeholders (FP&A, ESS FS)
 * Review & explain the financial results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis (SAC Review)
 * Perform Income Tax calculations as per global Organon instructions
 * Review TP (Transfer Pricing) calculations with global tax team
 * Ensure full respect of AT & GE & US accounting and legal regulations
 * In charge of following up and closing all internal and external audits with the following parties: external auditor, VAT, Taxes, SOX, CAAS, local Authorities
 * Prepare and submit EC-Sales-List for German VAT registration of 3240 (Organon Ireland).
 * Maintain financial master data in SAP up to date
Statutory accounts
 * Contribute to the annual financial results, as prepared according to US GAAP standards, into the Belgian statutory accounts as required by Belgian accounting legislation
 * Provide the information required to prepare the tax return and ensure timely filing
 * Review preparation all external Reportings and documents that are slightly related to finance (Kammerumlage monthly; IC-TAX -KU1 payment quarterly; VAT Return request quarterly, ÖNB (AWBES, AWBET annual)/ Statisik(Leistungs- und Struktur erhebung Austria Reporting; Finanzonline Admin; Wireg - jährlich; ups-Zugang; E18- Feb anual)
StS Accounting
 * Ensure local users use the global tool and StS processes
 * Report and follow up on STS Issues and Ensure Third level support for local partner with local procurement.
 * Communication with internal users, purchasing, GDO, COE teams, procurement
Other
 * Perform quarterly crosscharges
 * Perform AT & GE Pulse Review - ouliners check quarterly
 * Review and analyze hospitility expenses
 * SEAT tool and TP Adjustment
 * AON Austria preparation pension evaluation for YEC
Ad hoc projects
 * Provide information and be active in various projects, guaranteeing successful implementation
Role Requirements
 * Master degree or Bachelor degree with finance experience
 * Experience in financial management at least 5 years
 * Practical and theoretical knowledge of all SOX process
 * Familiarity with current AT, GE & US accounting and tax legislation
 * English language is a must
 * Knowledge of SAP is an asset
 * Advanced excel skills
