Responsibilities
* You have a sound education as a sommelier and know your way around the world of wine.
* You have a keen sense for flavours, food pairing and quality - and enjoy sharing your passion with guests and colleagues.
* You have experience in upscale gastronomy and advise discerning guests competently and authentically.
* You keep an overview of our wine range and take care of purchasing, storage and costing.
* You enjoy passing on your knowledge and regularly training and inspiring the service team.
* You work in a structured, guest-orientated way and want to actively help shape the wine experience at the Ifen Hotel.
* Co-designing the wine list and beverage selection in coordination with our F&B management
Qualifications
* You have a real passion for wine and enjoy sharing your knowledge with enthusiasm.
* You are communicative and know how to inspire people at eye level.
* You work with attention to detail and pay attention to the highest quality - without losing sight of the big picture.
* You have a confident, warm and authentic demeanour - both in contact with guests and as part of a team.
* You are open to new ideas, enjoy learning new things and always keep your finger on the pulse of the latest professional developments.
* You have patience, sensitivity and a keen sense for individual wishes.
