Join our Global Gaming and Esports Team as a Head of Gaming Event Marketing at our RedBull HQ in Salzburg, Austria!
Responsibilities
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Minimum 10+ years in a leading marketing role within the event space (gaming, esports, sports, etc.) at RedBull or a similar consumer‑driven brand, agency, publisher, or organization—holding full content and budget responsibility
Proven collaboration with gaming event organizers, a strong network in the gaming/esports industry, and deep familiarity with PC, console, and mobile games. Being an active gamer with hands‑on knowledge of top competitive titles (e.g., CS, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant, Rainbow Six, Age of Empires II) is essential
Demonstrated success as an independent project leader with a solid track record of delivering impactful initiatives, alongside strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage teams
Strong organizational talent, entrepreneurial thinking, and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders and markets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills; fluency in English is mandatory, with additional languages as a plus
Travel 30‑40%
Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years marketing experience in event space
Strong network in gaming/esports industry
Hands‑on gaming knowledge of competitive titles
Project leadership and team management skills
Organizational and entrepreneurial mindset
Fluent in English; additional languages valued
Compensation
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €5,612 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market‑oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
